The first thing I asked Cristina when I met her was, "so what made you move to Colorado?" Her answer? One word... Mountains. Cristina and Justin were originally from Chicago, but they moved to Colorado to be surrounded by it's beauty. In picking their venue, a view with mountains was very important them. That's why, of course, they got married on October 19th, 2019 at the beautiful Younger Ranch Wedding Venue.
The day started with lots of chatting and excitement and nerves. The bride barn was full of Cristina's sisters and closest friends as they prepared for the ceremony. I photographed her beautiful, lace dress and her classic nude colored shoes. I laid out every detail given to me, which included not only her weddings bands, but her grandmothers rings as well.
Cristina and Justin had an intimate first look and letter exchange with each other in the woods of Younger Ranch. They shared such a touching moment with each other before they joined their bridal party for photos. We spent a lot of time getting photos with their sweet sweet puppy, Skylar. Skylar is a 12-year-old blind husky but was a trooper the entire day, and I just could not get enough of his sweet face!
These two had a beautiful ceremony with the amazing backdrop that can only be found at Younger Ranch (the mountains that Cristina so dearly loved). Everyone enjoyed the couple's first dance inside the reception barn and we all got to eat an amazing dinner of steak and potatoes from the amazing Salt of the Earth Catering Company!
Cristina and Justin enjoyed the rest of the night dancing with their closest friends and family, all of whom traveled from Chicago to witness these two getting married. There was laughing and dancing and we even broke out the glow-sticks. Even for a chilly October night, it was the perfect end to Younger Ranch's season.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Pallante!
